Japan

Never again will a leisurely picnic in the park be quite as unforgettable as one taken during springtime in Japan, when the arrival of the cherry blossom sparks a series of countrywide festivals and celebrations. You could be forgiven for thinking that your holiday has already reached its peak, yet amazingly, the memory-making moments have only just begun!

Vibrant cities offer up an electrifying mix of sightseeing tours and fine dining experiences suitable for all tastes and interests. Famous for its punctuality, the high-speed bullet train means that you can easily spend the morning exploring the shopping streets of Nakamise and Omotesando in Tokyo before heading to Kyoto to enjoy a Geisha or Maiko dinner show in the evening. Just as enticing is the surrounding countryside, where a trip northeast will allow you to explore the UNESCO world heritage listed Shirakawago village and a trip southwest will reward you heart-stopping views of Mount Fuji.

So much to see, do and explore, once you have had a taste of this fascinating country, you will want to return time and time again.
